OOXML was approved.  They tried to fight it but this is the standard.  Maybe wikipedia was behind when you read it.</description>

You&#039;re wrong about the OOXML, nothing on the Wikipedia site says it was approved, it infact says in Sept. 2007 it was narrowly rejected.
